First Story Building, Lagos State




The first story building in Nigeria was built in Marina Badagry in 1845. The simple Portuguese styled one story building was built of concrete, wood and corrugated zinc materials.

Thebuilding located at a strategic part of Badagry, was built by a merchant and one of the Bale’s of Badagry. The house is a popular tourist landmark in Badagry.
